E-Mat

The E-Mat Dust Collector is a self-contained, economical, compact, high efficiency fabric filter, ideal for intermittent duty.

OPERATION

E-Mat Dust Collector Dust in the conveying air stream is drawn into the E-Mat where separation occurs in two stages. During the Primary stage, heavier particles arc deposited into the hopper due to a reduction in velocity and change in direction of air flow. Secondary separation takes place when the fine, lighter dust is deposited onto the outer surface of the fabric. Cleaned air is discharged by the centrifugal fan either back into the working environment or to atmosphere.

To maintain maximum efficiency, the shaker is operated under no air flow conditions. On the CU, FBV and CUVH units, an automatic sequence control panel is used to ensure optimum efficiency, and on NBV and NBVH units this is achieved by a manual push button starter.

The extrtacted dust falls into a collection facility below.

On normal applications cleaning cycles would be approximately every four hours.

EPC Dust Collector Multi-bank plant type filter with various discharge and dust collection arrangements to suit a wide range of situations. Exhaust fans are positioned separately to suit site conditions.

Varying arrangements of banks and tiers allows a wide range of filter fabric areas. These versatile configurations will suit almost all site requirements and limitations.

The filters are based on standard 0.7m, 1.0m and 1.5m long pad assemblies with a reverse jet cleaning system.
